Look at what we did today....

Monday: Free Play Monday!!!
Possibilities plan: Jurassic Sand

Tuesday:  Push toy animals. Push Turtle, Pony, Zebra and rocking Horse. The Willows pushed the pushed toys across the floor back and forth. Rocking on the rocking horse asking for teachers to sing row,row, row your boat.

Outdoor adventures:  Push cars, things that go, sandbox, making sand cakes, water table, rocking horses, walking down the stairs without help and the ball pit.

Just before nap the Willows enjoy time out in the Core. Playing with cars and trucks, climbing up on the climber and sitting down to look at books.

Possibilities plan: Story board. I sang some of the Willows favorite story board songs. Tiny Tim, Mama Duck, So many fishes in the deep blue sea ( color song), Slippery fish and Old McDonald.

Wednesday:  Animal Finger Puppets.

Kidspace is now composting, so after breakfast we showed the Willows where we put the food instead of in the bin when clearing their spots.

Possibilities plan: Shredded Paper and giant Pom Poms. the Willows had fun picking up the paper and throwing it around. Lin and I yelled  "Its snowing." They all looked up.
The Willows also liked putting the shredded paper on their heads and then pretending to sneeze. The Willows through the big puffs around and Lin and I showed them how to blow the puffs.

Thursday: Musical Instruments on our Sandy day!!!
Possibilities Plan: Guinea Pig visit from Michelle and the Maples for our Animal theme.

Outdoor adventures: Sweeping the playground with Craig and then shoveling the wood chips back to the wood chip garden.

Friday: Watercolor collage. A brave move on my part doing art in the early morning. Messy trays, watercolors and non spill cups with brushes.

Possibilities plan: Animal costumes is what I planned, but the Willows had a different plan in mind. Reading books about animals. see the books read list on the bulletin board.

Outdoor Adventures: Finding sticks big and small. finding pine cones, walking up and down the stairs and climbing up on the big blocks of various sizes. Craig made a walking/climbing area.
